Selection of themes of high interest and concern to JISTEC members and related organizations, with lectures held at the Culture, Science and Technology (CST) International Salon and other venues as deemed necessary. The CST International Salon establishes sites for regular information exchanges and other gatherings between foreign embassy attaches in Japan and representatives of the Japanese government, industry and academic sectors, with the goal of contributing to the personal networking of each of the participants. Toward this end, requests are issued to suitable speakers to present themes at such get-togethers, leading to more fruitful exchanges.
