As the title "Living in Japan - Guidebook for Foreign Researchers" suggests, this is a guidebook for foreign researchers who are coming to live and work in Japan. This guidebook compiles JISTEC’s expertise accumulated throughout the years. Besides basic information about arriving in Japan, it will organize and elaborate on FAQ’s posed by researchers and introduces website addresses of specific organizations in charge, which will be able to provide more detailed information.  Consequently, this will serve as a useful guidebook during each researcher’s  stay in Japan, as well as a means to be well-prepared  and to gather necessary information ahead of time.
