The International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA) is a research hub part of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), which was inaugurated as one of five research centers under the World Premier International Research Center Initiative launched in 2007 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. JISTEC carries out Japanese Cultural study programs for foreign researchers arriving at the center with the aim of enabling them to carry on their research activities and their life in Japan smoothly.
