This project points out funding system flaws in basic research field, particularly research areas with specific goals or those that strive to attain concrete goals. It mainly focuses on the lack of information/needs on the part of administrative organizations’ current decision-making system consisting of Program Directors and Program Officers. By analyzing obstacles that hinder the actual implementation of research results to society, it proposes to consider a new funding system.
